Connect the Twilio account your firm pays. Acumane does not share one.
Who is billed
Create the Twilio account, upgrade it from the trial, and create an API key. An admin pastes the Account SID, the key SID, and the secret in Voice, then Phone setup. The secret is envelope-encrypted. Twilio invoices minutes, numbers, and carrier fees. Acumane meters only the speech it synthesizes and transcribes.
Numbers and regulations
Buy a number or port one you already own. The setup writes the voice webhook on each incoming number. Countries that require a regulatory bundle have to be approved in Twilio before a number can be purchased there. A2P 10DLC is the United States registration for texting, not for voice. Verify your own mobile in Twilio before the test call. A trial account can ring only verified caller IDs.
Subaccounts and Connect
A subaccount is one you create in your own Twilio console when you want a separate balance. Paste that subaccount SID. Twilio Connect can authorize the workspace when this host has a Connect app id. You still create an API key on the authorized account. Disconnect wipes the stored secret and clears the voice webhook when Twilio can be reached.
