The same close, a separate set of books

A firm repeats a close, a question list, and a way of explaining variances. Those repeats are the agent. The books, files, and client staff belong in a workspace that cannot see the firm next door.

Workpapers are not interchangeable

A file uploaded for one client is scoped to that space. Retrieval, when it ships, cites that space's knowledge and not the firm's whole archive.

Staff turn over, the close should not

The agent holds the firm's questions. New staff join the organization. Client viewers join only their space.

Partners want a trail

Publishes, invitations, and role changes are audit events. The firm plan is the one without a space cap.

  1. 1. Capture the question list

Skills are markdown: what to ask about cash, revenue cut-off, and the items the firm always ties out.

  2. 2. Link the agent at engagement start

The client space gets the published version. Pinning a version is in the model for engagements that must not move mid-close.

  3. 3. Meter the busy season

Credits reset monthly. A top-up reserve is part of the pricing proposal for months that spike.
