AcuBin
Every file your team keeps, ready to answer with its source.
Keep the original and every version. Ask in plain words. Open the line the answer came from.
AcuBin is the Bin page in Acumane, where a team keeps the files and notes for each workspace. Bin reads them, finds them by name or by meaning, answers questions with citations, and shares exactly what you choose with the clients you choose.
Every version
Each change keeps the one before, and any version can be downloaded
Words + meaning
Search matches what a file says, not only its name, and shows why
By name
Share with one client, until a date, and stop whenever you like
30 days
Anything moved to Trash can be restored for a month
How it works
The life of one file
From the moment it arrives to the day it is retired, a file in Bin is read, found, cited and shared on your terms.
- 1
Add
Upload a file, write or dictate a note, or copy a file from Google Drive. A file’s type is read from its contents, never trusted from its name.
- 2
Read
Office, text and PDF files are read page by page, and images by a small vision model. Bin shows how much it could read, and your team can correct the text.
- 3
Find
Search by words and by meaning at once. Each result shows the passage that matched and the reason it came up.
- 4
Ask
Ask a question and get an answer with numbered citations. Each one opens the exact words of the version that was read.
- 5
Share
Share with the whole workspace or with one client until a date. Stopping a share closes it on that person’s next request.
- 6
Keep
Every version stays. Trash keeps items for 30 days, keep periods tidy only into Trash, and you can export what you can open as a ZIP.
Who sees what
Your team adds. Clients see what you share.
- Your team (Editors and above) adds, changes, shares and moves items to Trash in every workspace.
- A client opens only what your team shared with their whole workspace or with them by name, checked again on every open and download.
- The assistant searches Bin with the access of the person asking, so it can’t cite a file that person couldn’t open.
In detail
More than a folder
Numbers, worked exactly
Sheets and CSV files get a Numbers tab: typed columns, totals, averages, highest and lowest, change and outliers, each pointing to its cells. Ask a number question and see the working.
Files that know each other
Bin suggests links between items and shows both passages as evidence. Your team confirms or dismisses each one, and the Connections tab draws what is linked to what.
Comments and reviews
Comments attach to the words you selected in one version. Reviews cover one version, and anything an AI wrote needs a person’s check before a client can see it.
Google Drive, kept honest
Files copied from Drive keep checking their source. If access is lost, clients can no longer open the copy. If Drive is down, nothing is hidden.
Health as a to-do list
Conflicts, duplicates, stale or unread files and unused methods each get a queue, with the reason, who should act, and what to do. No score to puzzle over.
Methods pinned to a version
A method your team relies on is pinned to an approved version, with a review date and an owner. Suggested improvements come with checks, and an admin approves or rolls back.
Works together
Hub, Calendar and Bin share one agent
They are three pages of the same workspace. The assistant is the same agent with the same permissions on each, and you can open it from any of them with Ctrl or ⌘ and J.
Bin and Hub
Save a Hub answer to Bin with one tap, for your team only. Hub answers cite Bin passages, typed or spoken.
Calendar to Bin
Make a meeting pack from one of your events. Attendees are matched to people in the workspace, and each file shows who among them can open it.
The assistant, here too
Ctrl or ⌘ and J opens the assistant on Bin with starters like “Find the latest agreement I saved”.
Plainly stated
What is not built yet
Bin says what it couldn’t read rather than guessing. These are still to come.
- Reading text from scanned PDF pages. Bin lists them, and your team can type the text in.
- OneDrive. Google Drive is the only connected source today.
- Writing changes back to Google Drive.
- Email notifications when something is shared or needs a review.
- Sending Bin items through a messaging app.
- Database row-level security as a second lock behind Acumane’s own access checks.
Try it
Bring the files your answers depend on
Drop in a contract, a price sheet or last year’s notes. Bin reads them in the background, and Hub starts citing them in its answers.
